Rapid Antigen Tests work by detecting protein fragments specific to SARS-CoV-2, and a positive test is highly suggestive of an active COVID-19 infection. Our clinically trained staff will collect a nasal swab sample, which will then be processed on site. Results will be emailed to you by end of day, though typically within half an hour.
Depending on availability, we offer a Rapid NAAT (Nucleic Acid Amplification Test), which is a molecular diagnostic test that detects the genetic material of SARS-CoV-2 using an amplification reaction that is an equivalent alternative amplification method to polymerase chain reaction (PCR). Rapid NAAT’s are very sensitive and can reliably detect small amounts of SARS-CoV-2, meaning they are unlikely to return a false-negative result. A sample is collected via nasal swab by our trained clinical staff and processed on-site. You will receive your results by end of day, though typically within one hour, as opposed to PCR tests which can often take days to process.
We offer a rapid RT-PCR (reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction) test, with results available in as little as 30 minutes. Standard RT-PCR tests must be sent to a laboratory and typically produce results within 3 business days. A sample is collected via nasal swab by our trained clinical staff and processed on site. You will receive your results by end of day, though typically within one hour.
Travel requirements vary by location and are constantly changing — it is very important that you confirm the specific requirements of your destination prior to your departure.
We include information commonly required by most countries, states, and organizations, including: patient name, date of birth, date/time of sample collection and results processing, type of test, test results, and laboratory information including CLIA ID.
We collect our samples via nasal swab ONLY. We do NOT collect nasopharyngeal samples, which extend deep into the nasal cavity and are significantly more invasive and uncomfortable.
Rapid antigen test results are typically received in less than one hour. Rapid PCR results are typically received in less than two hours.
We do accept most insurances for certain tests, including Medicare. We are unable to accept Medicaid, or the HRSA Covid Uninsured Fund at this time.
